    XPRESSIVE – presents energetic music, full of different kind of instrumental sounds.

 

    This is the short history of the band since the beginning to nowadays, divided into time periods, which shows the stages of the band’s activity.

 

A.D. 1995-1997

 

    * Year 1995 - the rise of formation Impressive. Crystallized band are: Piotr Nowak - lead vocal, keyboards, Jakub Makowiecki - guitars, Karol Nowak - drums, Wojciech Nowak - bass

  

    * The new ideas, new inspirations, new experiences, the band's compositions are mainly instrumental Jazz - Rock and Art – Rock music;

 

A.D. 1998-2001

 

    * The group creates new compositions within the range of Rock, Pop, Psychodel, and the “Picture” Music - beside instrumental compositions there are also songs.

    

    * The group has already recorded 3 albums LIVE: LIVE I - 1998, LIVE II - 2000, LIVE III - 2001 - including music spectrum of IMPRESSIVE.

 

A.D. 2002-2008

 

     * the band change the name into XpressiveE

 

    * In the midddle of time in XpressivE appeared: Marcin Wałkiewicz – bass, Wojciech Seligmann – bass, Aleksander Chrzan – bass, Andrzej Borowski – vocal and Artur Żurowiec – acoustician. Piotr Nowak, Jakub Makowiecki and Karol Nowak make up the trunk of band that doesn’t change.  In September 2005 Robert Skorupka (bass) has joined the band. In May 2005 XpressivE has been strenghtened by Damian Szczygula (vocal) - laureate of "Szansa na Sukces", co-founder and co-author many musical projects, author texts, laureate "Zlota Dziesiątka Opolskich Debiutow". Grzegorz Mączak keeps acoustician's function.

 

    * First studio album ENCOUNTER has recorded – more in Discography

 

    * First Singiel  - Zart. Disc contain two other compositions in polish language: "Zart", "Inny Swiat", and two in english: "Dream" and "Good Enough"

 

    * December 2008: Piotr Nowak and Karol Nowak have formed a band called SilArt.
